Shopify Plugin

Accept payments on your Shopify platform using the Amazon Payment Services plugin for seamless payment processing.

Prerequisites

Before you begin, ensure you have:

  • Shopify store with admin access
  • Amazon Payment Services live account

All supported local payment options are supported on multi-select feature only.

Install and activate the plugin

Install the Plugin

Login to your Shopify Admin account, navigate to SettingsPayments, click Add payment methods under "Supported payment methods" section, search for "APS - Amazon Payment Services" under Search by provider, and click Add button next to the plugin. You'll be redirected to the installation page where you should click Install app to proceed.

Configure Amazon Payment Services Account

After installation, you'll be redirected to your Amazon Payment Services account. Navigate to Merchant ManagementShopify Settings, enter your Shopify domain (must include .myshopify.com), and click Link & Activate. Then go to Technical Settings tab, click Add New Technical Settings, select Redirection from Integration Type dropdown, and Activate.

Set Required URLs

Configure these specific URLs in your technical settings:

Activate Payment Methods

Go back to Shopify admin: SettingsPaymentsAdd payment methods, search for "APS - Amazon Payment Services" again, click Activate, choose your supported payment methods (Visa, MasterCard, American Express, MADA if applicable), and click the green Activate APS - Amazon Payment Services button. You should see a confirmation message: "APS - Amazon Payment services activated".

Configure email-only checkout in Shopify Admin:

  • Go to SettingsCheckout
  • Enable email-only checkout to prevent integration issues
