You can choose not to provide certain information, but then you might not be able to take advantage of certain features offered through APS Services.
• Automatic Information: We automatically collect and store certain types of information about your use and interaction with APS Services. Like many online services, we use "cookies" and other unique identifiers, and we obtain certain types of information when your web browser or device accesses APS Services. • Information from Other Sources: We might receive information about you from other sources, such as marketing and sales generation information, including the name, email address, physical address, phone number, and other similar contact information of Merchants. Click here to see additional examples of the information we receive.

We use your personal information to operate, provide, develop, and improve the products and services that we offer. These purposes include:
• Provide APS Services: We use your personal information to provide and deliver APS Services and process transactions related to APS Services, including managing your account.
• Analyze, troubleshoot, and improve APS Services. We use your personal information to analyze performance, fix errors, and improve the usability and effectiveness of APS Services.
• Recommendations and personalization. We use your personal information to recommend features, products, and services that might be of interest to you, identify your preferences, and personalize your experience with APS Services.
• Comply with legal obligations. In certain cases, we collect and use your personal information to comply with laws. For instance, we may collect information regarding place of establishment and commercial registration documents for identity verification and other purposes.
• Communicate with you. We use your personal information to communicate with you in relation to APS Services via different channels (e.g., by phone, email, chat).
• Advertising. We use your personal information to display interest-based ads for features, products, and services that might be of interest to you. We do not use information that personally identifies you to display interest-based ads. To learn more, please read our Interest-Based Ads notice.
• Fraud Prevention and Credit Risks. We use personal information to prevent and detect fraud and abuse in order to protect the security of you, APS, and others. We may also use scoring methods to assess and manage credit risks.

To enable our systems to recognize your browser or device and to provide and improve APS Services, we use cookies and other identifiers. For more information about cookies and how we use them, please read our Cookies Notice.

Information about you is an important part of our business, and we are not in the business of selling your personal information to others. We share personal information only as described below and with Amazon.com, Inc. and companies owned and controlled by Amazon.com, Inc. and that either are subject to this Privacy Notice or follow practices at least as protective as those described in this Privacy Notice.
• Transactions involving Third Parties: We may make available to you services, products, or applications provided by third parties for use on or through APS Services. For example, to offer installment payment options and consumer lending options from third parties. We may also offer services or sell product lines jointly with third-party businesses. You can tell when a third party is involved and we share personal information in connection with those interactions with that third party.
• Third-Party Service Providers: We employ financial institutions, other companies, and individuals to perform functions on our behalf. Examples include sending e-mail, analyzing data, providing marketing assistance, processing payments, verifying identity, fraud screening, and providing customer service. These third-party service providers have access to personal information needed to perform their functions, but may not use it for other purposes.
• Business Transfers: As we continue to develop our business, we might sell or buy other businesses or services. In such transactions, customer information generally is one of the transferred business assets but remains subject to the promises made in any pre-existing Privacy Notice (unless, of course, you consent otherwise). Also, in the unlikely event that APS or substantially all of its assets are acquired, information regarding customers will of course be one of the transferred assets.
• Protection of APS and Others: We release account and other personal information when we believe release is appropriate to: comply with the law (including responding to regulatory authorities); comply with payment method rules or requirements; enforce or apply our Conditions of Use, terms and conditions and other agreements; or protect the rights, property, or safety of APS, Merchants, or others. You agree to APS sharing and disclosing personal information as described above to any competent financial intelligence unit charged with fighting money laundering and terrorism financing for the specific purposes described in this paragraph. This also includes exchanging information with other companies and organizations for fraud protection and credit risk reduction.
Other than as set out above, you will receive notice when personal information about you might be shared with third-parties, and you will have an opportunity to choose not to share the information.

We design our systems with your security and privacy in mind.
• We work to protect the security of your personal information during transmission by using encryption protocols and software.
• We follow the Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard (PCI DSS) when handling credit card data.
• We maintain physical, electronic, and procedural safeguards in connection with the collection, storage, and disclosure of personal information. Our security procedures mean that we may occasionally request proof of identity before we disclose personal information to you.
• It is important for you to protect against unauthorized access to your password and to your computers, devices, and applications. We recommend using a unique password for your APS account that is not utilized for other online accounts. Be sure to sign off when finished using a shared computer.
• Merchants should keep passwords confidential. The security of your Merchant account with APS relies on your protection of your password. DO NOT SHARE YOUR PASSWORD. If you do share your password with a third party for any reason, the third party may have access to your account with APS and your personal information, any you may be responsible for actions taken using your credentials. If you believe someone else has obtained access to your credentials, please change your password immediately be logging in to your account and contact us right away.

We provide ad companies with information that allows them to serve you with more useful and relevant APS ads and to measure their effectiveness. We never share your name or other information that directly identifies you when we do this. Instead, we use an advertising identifier like a cookie or other device identifier. Some ad companies also use this information to serve you relevant ads from other advertisers. You can learn more about interest-based advertising by going to our Interest-Based Ads notice.

You can access certain information about your account and your interaction with APS Services by logging into your account and viewing the "Account Setup" tab. Please refer to the section Examples of Information Collected for further details

If you have any questions as to how we collect and use your personal information, please contact our Customer Service. Many of our APS Services also include settings that provide you with options as to how your information is being used.
• As described above, you can choose not to provide certain information, but then you might not be able to take advantage of certain features offered through APS Services.
• You can add or update certain information on pages such as those referenced in ‘What Information Can I Access?’. When you update information, we usually keep a copy of the prior version for our records.
• If you do not want to receive promotional messages from us, please unsubscribe.
• Advertising: If you don’t want to see interest-based ads, please see our Interest-Based Ads notice for available options.
• Browser and Devices: The Help feature on most browsers and devices will tell you how to prevent your browser or device from accepting new cookies, how to have the browser notify you when you receive a new cookie, or how to disable cookies altogether.
In addition, to the extent required by applicable law, you may have the right to request access to or delete your personal information. If you wish to do any of these things, please contact Customer Service. Depending on your data choices, certain services may be limited or unavailable.
Individual customers of Merchants should make requests for any information relating to transactions or purchases made from a Merchant directly to that Merchant.

If you choose to use APS Services, your use and any dispute over privacy is subject to this Notice and our Conditions of Use, including limitations on damages, resolution of disputes, and application of the law of the Dubai International Finance Center. If you have any concern about privacy at APS, please contact us with a thorough description, and we will try to resolve it. Our business changes constantly, and our Privacy Notice will change also. You should check our websites frequently to see recent changes. Unless stated otherwise, our current Privacy Notice applies to all information that we have about you and your account. We stand behind the promises we make, however, and will never materially change our policies and practices to make them less protective of personal information collected in the past without the consent of affected Merchants.
If you interact with APS Services on behalf of or through your organization, then your personal information may also be subject to your organization’s privacy practices, and you should direct privacy inquiries to your organization.

Information You Give Us When You Use APS Services

You provide information to us when you:
• purchase APS Services;
• create or administer your APS account;
• use APS Services;
• communicate with us by phone, e-mail or otherwise;
• configure your settings for, provide data access permissions for, or otherwise interact with APS Services;
• register for or attend an APS event;
• complete a questionnaire, a support ticket or other information request forms;
• post on APS websites, sign up for a newsletter, or participate in community features;
• employ notification services; and
• choose security questions to answer before we issue you a new password or provide you with customer service.
As a result of those actions, you might supply us with such information as:
• identifying information such as your name, address, e-mail address, and phone number;
• payment information, including credit card and bank account information;
• your location information;
• information about your organization and your contacts, such as colleagues or people within your organization;
• authentication and security credential information;
• content of feedback, testimonials, inquiries, support tickets, and any phone conversations, and emails with or to us;
• information regarding identity, including government-issued identification information;
• corporate and financial information; and
• VAT numbers and other tax identifiers.
We also collect information that may be necessary for us to verify your identity and comply with anti-money laundering or similar law. Such information may include, without limitation:
• date of birth;
• passport/ national ID details;
• a bank statement and information;
• a recent utility bill;
• other information linking you to an address in your account;
• phone number;
• personal email address for a Merchant’s shareholders and authorized representatives;
• residential address for a Merchant’s shareholders and authorized representatives;
• financial information; and
• demographic information.
Automatic Information
Examples of the information we collect and analyze include:
• network and connection information, such as the Internet protocol (IP) address used to connect your computer or other device to the Internet and information about your Internet service provider;
• computer and device information, such as device, application, or browser type and version, browser plug-in type and version, operating system, or time zone setting;
• the location of your device or computer;
• device metrics such as when a device is in use, application usage, connectivity data, and any errors or event failures;
• APS Services metrics (e.g., the occurrences of technical errors, your interactions with service features and content, your settings preferences and backup information, location of your device running an application, information about uploaded images and files such as the file name, dates, times and location of your images);
• the full Uniform Resource Locator (URL) clickstream to, through, and from our websites, including date and time, and APS Services, content you viewed or searched for; page response times, download errors, length of visits to certain pages, and page interaction information (such as scrolling, clicks, and mouse-overs); and
• phone numbers used to call our customer service number.

We may also use device identifiers, cookies, and other technologies on devices, applications, and our web pages to collect browsing, usage, or other technical information.

Information from Other Sources
Examples of information we receive from other sources include:
• marketing and sales generation information, including your name, email address, physical address, phone number, and other similar contact information;
• subscription, purchase, support, or other information about your interactions with products and services offered by us or third parties in relation to APS Services; and
• information that may be necessary for us to verify your identity and comply with anti-money laundering or similar law.

Examples of information you can access through APS Services include:
• personally identifiable information (including name, e-mail, physical address and other similar contact information);
• authentication and security credential information;
• payment settings, such as payment instrument information and billing preferences;

• your subscription, billing, and payment history.
